Trainee Arts Business Administration Officer Alia Bennett
Alia
is the newest staff member to join the Artworkers team as Trainee Arts
Business Administration Officer. Her role is to assist in the business
development of the organisation, with a special interest in building on
the current relationship with our members.
Alia has 5 years
photographic experience, which includes studying at QCA and Queensland
College of Photography. While Alia’s real passion is for documentary
photography, she is also a concert and studio photographer.

Membership Officer Pia Robinson
Pia
is an emerging artist who is equally passionate about working inthe
Visual Ars Industry as she about her art practice. She recently
graduated from Queensland College of Art majoring in Gold and
Silversmithing, since then she has started a Graduate Diploma in
ArtsManagement at Queensland University of Technology and has completed
an Arts Marketing course at Sotheby's Institute of Art, London.
Her previous employment includes Film Production Design Assistant (CrookedBusiness,
released 2008), Volunteer Tour Guide and Activity Supervisor at the
Queensland Art Gallery, Archivist at Fireworks Gallery and Art teachers
Aide. In her role as Membership Officer she looks forward to meeting
and interacting with Artworkers Members.

Director Kevin Wilson
Director of Artworkers Alliance, Kevin has worked in the arts industry for over 20 years, as an artist and as founding Director of Linden in St.Kilda, the Director of Noosa Regional Gallery and as Manager of Cultural Services in Albury. Alongside providing direction and program planning for Artworkers, in 2009 he will also oversee the Arc Biennial of Art event.
He has developed a range of innovative facilities, programs and exhibitions including Linden as a comprehensive art centre and the new $15 million converged Albury LibraryMuseum, youth curatorial and artist-in-residence programs, touring exhibitions to Asia and the nationally recognised Floating Land project. Most recently he was the President and founding member of Artists in Nature International network based in France.
Casual Staff: Tech GuruCostas Constantinou
Costas
is the Artworkers Tech Guru. Costas is an emerging artist
and arts worker. He has studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts
at QUT and has previously worked with Youth Arts Queensland, Hands On
Art and the State Library of Queensland. Costas manages the Artworkers website and all things technological, whilst providing ad-hoc support for the Artworkers team. Costas is an
interdisciplinary artist with skills in video editing, mixed media,
installation, performance, music and candle making. He currently plays the double bass with ensemble Bessy Lou.
