Curatorial Services
Artworkers offers a variety of curatorial services which connect
industry with contemporary visual artists, designers and craft
practitioners. We provide assistance to government, businesses,
individuals and the community to source the right artist for
employment, exhibitions, commissions and other projects. We can assist
in collection management and provide curatorial assistance to ensure
you achieve your desired outcome.
How does it work?
Artworkers identifies and recommends the most appropriate and
skilled artists for your project. The referral list you receive
includes the relevant contact details of up to ten artists. If you are
unable to engage any of the artists referred, we will conduct another
back-up search for your project at no additional charge.
Artworkers can also provide industry information on engaging and
employing artists covering issues of artist fees, remuneration,
copyright, contracts, intellectual property, insurance and project
management.
Costs?
Organisational Membership $110
This level of membership gives you access to four complete artist
recommendations per twelve months. That is access to forty artists.
It also provides you with all the benefits of an Artworkers
membership, including information and advice on all aspects of visual
arts practice, a weekly ebulletin detailing arts events and
opportunities, and access to all parts of our program.
Casual registration $55
Less frequent clients may prefer the pay-as-you-go option. For a
one-off job, Artworkers can provide recommendations of up to ten
suitable artists.
Specialist curatorial services $88 p/h
Artworkers is also able to provide comprehensive and tailored
curatorial services across a range of projects, including the
development of curatorial rationales, project briefs, artists briefs,
