2. arts consultancy Artworkers is a vital link between artists and employers. With our register of artists? work, we assist the arts industry, business, government and the community to engage the right artist for their commission, exhibition, job or project. To increase your chances of getting more work, simply register your skills, CV, artist?s statement and artwork images online at www.artworkers.org. We?ll show your work to employers and curators, and help you generate revenue from your practice. A component of our consultancy services is the leasing of artwork. The Art Leasing Service offers you the opportunity to gain income through the rental of artwork to corporate, government and private clients, while retaining ownership of your work. Our website connects you with information, opportunities, and others in the visual arts community; it's also a tool to promote your work. Log in to update your profile, chat with other members, and browse job advertisements, industry news and opportunities.
4. public liability insurance
Artworkers is pleased to offer an umbrella public liability insurance program to individual artists who require this cover as part of their artistic and business practice. Underwritten by an international insurance company, the program provides comprehensive public and product liability insurance, and limited cover for teaching / workshops. The level of cover provided is $10 million and is valid anywhere in the world (excluding Canada and the US). Cover is available to anyone taking out an accredited Artworkers membership. 5. exhibitions
Our exhibition program provides access for artists and curators to gain much-needed exhibition opportunities and experience. We co-ordinate exhibitions of our members' work in a range of spaces, in traditional and non-traditional exhibition formats. For our exhibitions click here.
6. professional development
Our annual program of statewide workshops, seminars, mentorships, forums and networking events will give you all the skills and contacts you need to maintain a professional practice. Artworkers also manage several awards to support artists financially and further promote the value of the arts. The biennial Siganto Scholarship is a chance for emerging artists to access professional development opportunities through travel. 7. publications
We sell a suite of online and hard copy publications dealing with the practicalities of running an arts practice - some written and researched by us, some produced by other organisations. Members can also access information sheets on everything from taxation to marketing and promotion. Another perk of an Artworkers membership is our arts magazine Artworker, full of useful information, arts articles and interviews. Artworker is delivered to your door twice a year.
8. ebulletin
The ebulletin is a weekly online newsletter - a powerhouse of information packed with arts industry news, jobs and events. A powerhouse of information, the ebulletin is emailed to members every Thursday afternoon, and is also available through the members area of the website.

Members visiting us in Brisbane have access to computers for word processing or accessing our website to update details, plus a fax, photocopier and printer.
