artists, craft practitioners and designers working anywhere in
Australia can access affordable public liability insurance as part of
an Artworkers Accredited Membership. Underwritten
by a major international insurance company, an Artworkers Accredited
Membership includes comprehensive public and product liability
insurance, with some cover for teaching/workshops. With $10 million
cover valid anywhere in Australia, this level of membership provides
affordable insurance alongside all the other services Artworkers has to
offer. The Artworkers
Accredited Membership includes public liability insurance cover and all
of the benefits of a standard Artworkers membership. The total cost of
membership and insurance for 12 months is only $215! Each year, the
public liability insurance policy begins in July (the start of the
financial year) and is active for the financial year, after which a new
policy begins. If an application is made after July, the artist will
pay a pro-rata rate of the twelve months, accordingly. Please see the
table below for the exact dates for each application round and the
relevant costing.
